Privacy Policy SAM International

SAM International B.V. is committed to protecting your privacy and the information provided in order to process your order through our web shops. We comply with the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998, the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 and the SafeBuy Code of Practice. This policy sets out how we will use the information you give us and the protections which are built into our systems.

Placing an order
We collect information about you in order to process your order and to tailor your visit to our website to be as relevant to you as possible. That information will only be shared with other parties that are involved in the fulfilment of your order. We do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam).

Data protection
We operate conform the requirements of the Data Protection Act, 1998. credit/debit card data will always be trasferred trough a secured SSL 128 bit encrypted connection. Data will only be released to third parties (e.g. the police) on request where there is a legal requirement for us to do so.

Your address
Your phone and fax number
Your e-mail address
Your credit/debit card details
Other information necessary for processing your order

If a customer’s address or email details change, SAM International customer service should be contacted and the information held will be corrected.

This data will be held in accordance with our internal security policy. If we propose to send your data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) we will seek your consent first. We will never collect sensitive information about you without your agreement. You have a right to ask for a copy of the information which we are holding on you and we will provide this for a small fee. We will delete information or correct any inaccuracies at no charge as soon as you make the request.

After sales communication
SAM Inernational may only contact customers by post, e-mail or telephone to provide information on new products or to give product advice. We do not send random marketing e-mails to personal email addresses (spam).

Customers can opt not to receive communications from SAM International by ticking a check box at the time of order. They will also have the option to decline further communications at any time that SAM International contacts them in future. They can also opt to be excluded from further communication by contacting SAM International directly.

Use of cookies
Our website only makes use of cookies that are technically required to load our website on your computer, and process your order. We never install coockies to monitor your online behaviour.
